How do I rent a unit or parking space?
You can reserve your unit or parking space online anytime by clicking Rent a Unit. Choose your space, complete your rental agreement and make your first payment, and you’ll receive your access details to move in. Prefer to talk to someone? Call or email us and we’ll help you through it.
How much does it cost?
Interior units start at $105 per month, RV and boat lots are $150 per month, and vehicle and trailer lots are $65 per month. HST is extra. See our Pricing page for every size and rate.
What can I park in the outdoor spaces?
Our 20×50 lots are sized for RVs, motorhomes, campers, travel trailers and boats on trailers. Our 10×30 lots work well for cars, trucks, utility trailers and equipment. View outdoor parking rates.
How do I pay?
We accept credit card payments, billed automatically each month. Your first month’s payment is due when you reserve your space. See our rates.
How do I get into the facility?
The property is gated and access controlled. Once your rental is set up, you’ll receive your own personal access to enter through the gate.
Is my stuff safe?
Security is built into our facility. The property is gated and access controlled, so only customers with active rentals can enter, and each entry is tied to your personal access. The site is also monitored by security cameras and well lit at night.
What size unit will I need?
It depends on what you’re storing. A 5×10 holds boxes, seasonal items and a few small pieces of furniture. A 10×10 fits the contents of a one bedroom apartment. A 10×15 suits a two bedroom home, and a 10×20 holds a three bedroom home or business inventory. See every size on our Pricing page, or contact us and we’ll help you pick the right one.
How long do I have to rent for?
Rentals are month to month, with no minimum term. Store for as long as you need.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. All customers must carry insurance on their stored belongings and vehicles. Check with your home, auto or RV insurance provider to see if your policy covers items in storage.
What are your access hours?
You can access the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as long as your account is in good standing.
What items can't be stored?
For everyone’s safety, the following are not allowed: flammable or hazardous materials (such as gasoline, propane, chemicals and explosives), perishable food, live animals or plants, and illegal items. Full details are in your rental agreement. Not sure about an item? Email us at rentals@dggstorage.ca.
Can I store a vehicle with fuel in it?
Vehicles, RVs and boats may be stored with fuel in their tanks, but extra fuel containers are not permitted.
